Best-wool Blankets

Cot blankets

Each of these cot / stroller blankets is a one-off, in bright juicy colours with a contrast stripe at one end. The fine honeycomb weave uses best 100% merino lambswool – very light, very tactile, warm and extremely soft.

These finished at 30 inch wide by 40 inch long – the ideal size for a littlie’s cot, stroller or wrap.

Lap blankets

These traditional lap blankets use a blend of genuine Shetland Lambswool and superfine Geelong, spun in Sandness in Scotland’s Shetland Isles. Earthy natural colours, a subtle stripe and the classic honeycomb weave provide a warm elegant wrap that is comfortable, practical, and timeless.

These finished at 31 inch wide by 60 inch long – ideal for draping over knees or shoulders.

‘Sunset’ shawls

Just off the loom, these striking Sunset shawls are inspired by 1960’s UK artist-designer Bernat Klein. They are the first to use an exciting new range of sustainable 100% British lambswool, with some glorious colours on show.

A deep honeycomb mid-section gives extra warmth around the shoulders – ideal for staying out ‘just a wee bit longer’ to enjoy the sunset.

These finished at 31 inch wide by 62 inch long.

What’s on the loom?

More Colours!

The ‘big’ loom is currently weaving more colourways in the Sunset shawl range. It’s steady ‘flow’ work that marks its own time. On average each of these pieces takes about a day to make and finish.

Commission Pieces

If you have a particular colourway in mind, please do get in touch for a chat. It’s often possible to work a ‘special’ into the next batch…

What’s with the rabbit?

Da Wabbit (yes, that is her name) is a much-loved family pet, who doubles as the brand-logo and .co.uk domain.

It’s not just a decorative role though, Da Wabbit often helps with everyday office tasks like paper shredding… she’s especially keen on brown envelopes and cardboard boxes!
